About Team Tide: Our Story       

                                                                                                                        

We are a family-owned business dedicated to helping people
achieve their dream of property ownership. Our story begins
with the Burton family’s first real estate purchase in our
hometown of Harrisburg, PA. CEO Robert Burton underwent
an especially difficult loan approval process due to a unique
financial situation, but with much guidance from his loan officer,
the loan closed successfully and we reached our first financial
milestone. Following continued years of hard work, he purchased
a second property in Harrisburg and two properties on
Chincoteague Island, VA.

When setting out to begin a fulfilling career in the mortgage industry, he quickly realized that in order to genuinely make a difference, he wouldn’t be working for some big bank. (See "What is a Mortgage Broker?") Already having been involved in the small business community, the best way to accomplish his mission was to open his own brokerage. The Burton family now owns and runs The Tiger Eye Coffee Shop, Harrisburg Framing and Sea Gallery et al, and Blue Tide Mortgage LLC, all located in the small borough of Paxtang, PA.
